The WWE Universe is buzzing in a major way over the big RAW Netflix premiere. While there were several surprises and swerves, some fans were disappointed as their favorite superstar didn't return, or in Pentagon's case, did not debut. Rumors on Alexa Bliss' WWE return have picked up as of late, but now the fan-favorite has revealed just how close she really was to last night's historic RAW episode.
The Goddess of World Wrestling Entertainment has not wrestled since Royal Rumble 2023, where she failed to dethrone then-RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair. The Ohio native had time off planned before that match and had dealt with health issues, but she and now-husband Ryan Cabrera announced that May that they were expecting their first child, which arrived in November 2023 - a daughter named Hendrix.
Bliss was most recently rumored to return to WWE after the holiday season, which fueled speculation on a big comeback during the RAW Netflix premiere. While WWE was airing its inaugural Netflix broadcast from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on Monday, Bliss was with her daughter and husband at Disneyland in nearby Anaheim, just a 30-minute drive.
Ryan Cabrera took to his Instagram Stories on Monday to reveal a photo of his "Happy Gurls" at Disneyland. Bliss later re-posted the photo with a two-word caption on her latest trip to The Happiest Place on Earth. She later shared a photo of lunch with Minnie Mouse, choosing "They Might Be Giants" by Mickey Mouse as the post theme song. Alexa then shared another photo of her daughter's big day, labeling her as the happiest girl and going with remixed Disney classic "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" by Vinil and High15 as the post theme.
"Disney day [heart emoji]," Alexa Bliss wrote with the photo below.
Bliss has kept in touch with fans while away from WWE and confirmed her desire to return. The 33-year-old previously told disappointed fans that the final decision on return plans was not up to her. The two sides may have had some communication this week with officials in the Los Angeles area, where Bliss resides.
