On the latest edition of SmackDown, LA Knight successfully defended the United States Championship against Andrade. On Twitter/X, the WWE Speed Champion sent a message after his awkward moment with The Megastar after their showdown.
Heading into the United States Championship match against Knight, Andrade secured three huge wins over Carmelo Hayes. Following his third win, the 34-year-old superstar was offered a title shot by The Megastar.
Following the title match, Andrade offered a handshake to the champion, but Knight was seemingly hesitant. On Twitter/X, the former AEW star sent a message, once again showing his respect to the champion.
"Thank you so much Sacramento!! Respect for the champion! There is no failure you either win or you learn!! @WWE @wweespanol," wrote Andrade.

After failing to win the United States Championship on SmackDown, Andrade was confronted backstage by Hayes. The former NXT Champion took shots at his arch-rival, sparking a huge brawl between the two.
Moments later, WWE confirmed another match between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. The two superstars are set to collide for the sixth time.
Dutch Mantell highlighted the awkward moment between Andrade and LA Knight on WWE SmackDown
The post-match moment between Andrade and LA Knight caught the attention of the WWE Universe, as well as wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell's attention.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, the former WWE manager stated that Knight's behavior was quite unusual. He said:
"It made you notice it. I noticed it. He doesn't do it often, right? LA Knight didn't offer to shake hands. So I'm thinking where is this going? So they left something open there. I want us to pay attention to it, okay?"
At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Knight defeated Logan Paul to win the United States Championship. For his first title defense, he successfully defended the title against Santos Escobar. It remains to be seen who emerges as Knight's next challenger.
