A member of the Anoa'i family recently praised Dominik Mysterio for his remarkable work as one of the top heels in WWE. Afa Anoa'i Jr., formerly known as Manu, thought that "Dirty" Dom was doing something right and everything had clicked with his character work.

Before Dominik became one of the most despised names in WWE, he was a babyface and Rey Mysterio's tag team partner. He has improved since turning heel and joining The Judgment Day. The former champion became a bigger bad guy when he turned on Rhea Ripley to side with Liv Morgan.

Speaking exclusively with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Joe Lowry asked Afa Jr. about his thoughts on Dominik's current run as a heel.

"I love Dominik Mysterio. So Dominik, you watched him grow up in the business, right? Before your very eyes from early green Dom to awkward Dom when he was awkward to prison Dom to what he is now. He's really starting to stride. You wait for that stride. Once it all starts to click, I believe it's clicked with Dom, because his timing is really good, and confidence and his on-screen presence. You look forward to seeing Dom's segments on TV so shout out to Dom," Afa Jr. said.

Cody Rhodes excited about Dominik Mysterio's progress in WWE

Afa Anoa'i Jr. is not the only former member of Legacy who thinks highly of Dominik Mysterio. Cody Rhodes told Good Karma Wrestling in a recent interview that he couldn't wait for "Dirty" Dom to finish his own story in WWE.

"This guy was involved in a match for his own custody as a child and is now this wonderfully great contributor to WWE, whether they’re booing him out of the building or not, we like that. That's an awesome thing to see. Him and Liv have had an incredible story. Dom is somebody that, if I'm looking at a story I want to watch and I can tune in to WWE in 15 years, I expect to see him in a completely different light. Nothing like we have now, a completely different light and a full evolution of his character," Rhodes said. [H/T: Wrestling Headlines]

At just 27, Dominik Mysterio is far from reaching his prime as a WWE Superstar. Dominik still hasn't had a run as a top babyface, which is hard to do right now given how hated he is by the fanbase due to his work as a villain.
