Another major faction has imploded after spending several years together, and a WWE star has turned heel in the process.

Wes Lee made a name for himself after forming The Rascalz along with Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz in 2018. The group debuted in Combat Zone Wrestling before making an impact in various promotions across the world.

However, when Wes Lee debuted in NXT, he appeared alongside Zachary Wentz as MSK. They quickly won the NXT Tag Team Championship but were stripped of it after Wentz was controversially let go. This put Lee in a difficult situation, having to wrestle as a singles star. However, he successfully won the NXT North American Championship - a title he held for 269 days.

However, Lee has since struggled to regain his title. When he was feeling lost, The Rascalz showed up on WWE NXT. This time, Trey Miguel also appeared.

Tonight, MSK was set to face Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship. However, they came up short. Wes Lee superkicked Trey Miguel after the match and attacked Zachary Wentz. He blamed Wentz for leaving him alone in WWE NXT. Lee then sent Miguel into the barricade and attacked Wentz again.

This is the second time a faction is imploding in a week after Judgment Day imploded at SummerSlam. This is also the first time Wes Lee will be a heel in his WWE career.

It will be interesting to see how Wes Lee fares now that he is a heel—a role he has never played in his life.
