"Are you guys kidding me?" - Ex-WWE staffer discusses how Nia Jax ruined the Draft (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo was shocked to see Nia Jax on RAW this week.

The Irresistible Force was drafted to SmackDown last Friday. She made an earth-shattering appearance for the brand when she attacked the WWE Women's Champion Bayley during the show. She also took down Naomi, ending her match against Tiffany Stratton in a no-contest.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo claimed that Jax appearing on the red brand despite being drafted to SmackDown showed just how pointless the draft was. He ridiculed Michael Cole for trying to make sense of the whole angle by stating that the draft goes into effect from next week.

"Right off the bat, I go hysterical because Nia Jax comes out, who was drafted on SmackDown. And Micael Cole says, 'Well, the draft doesn't come into effect till next week.' Are you guys kidding me? She's drafted to SmackDown on Friday, you're already using her on RAW three days later. Oh bro, it doesn't go into effect till next week. And then you know what it'll be next week bro? Ah, the wildcard. Then why are you even doing this bro?" [10:22 onwards]

This week, Jax interrupted a heated discussion between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan.

She issued a challenge to the two women which Liv accepted. Later in the evening, Morgan defeated Nia Jax and sent her packing to the blue brand.
