Authors of Pain pick up questionable win against popular tag team

The Authors of Pain picked up a win against a popular team on RAW. However, the victory became controversial.

Since their days in NXT, the Creed Brothers have been one of the most promising tag teams in the WWE. They were popular due to their charisma in the ring. Additionally, their amateur wrestling background also helped them out. Their consistent performances saw them make their main roster debut last year on RAW. Since then, they have been a part of the red brand.

Shortly after arriving on RAW, they competed for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Judgment Day. Although they came up short in the match, they took Judgment Day to their limit.

Tonight on RAW, The Creed Brothers squared off against Authors of Pain, who have been on a path of destruction lately. Prior to the match, Karrion Kross tried to recruit Xavier Woods to The Final Testament and asked him to watch AOP's match tonight. Woods instead challenged AOP to a match next week.

It didn't take long for the Final Testament to be up to their usual antics during the match. Scarlett pushed Ivy onto the ring steps. This distraction allowed the Authors of Pain to pick up the win.

Next week, The New Day will take on AOP. It remains to be seen how AOP does against one of the greatest tag teams ever.
