Mercy the Buzzard is a character Bray Wyatt introduced during his Firefly Fun House days in 2019. One of the figures who originally played Mercy The Buzzard opened up about the long-lasting impact his working relationship with Wyatt had on him.
Ex-WWE writer Jon Rineman worked for the Sports Entertainment juggernaut for a few months in 2019. He said that it wasn't a good fit for him due to where he was in his life at the time, and credited Paul Heyman for constantly giving him things to do.
In what was presumably a goodbye gift by Bruce Prichard, Jon Rineman said that he had the opportunity to be the one behind Mercy the Buzzard during one of the Firefly Fun House skits while directing another one:
"I only got to work with Bray twice. One time I was in the [Firefly] Fun House doing some puppeting for him. I got to be Mercy The Buzzard. I was there when he was breaking a brick with a hammer and I was like 'Wow, this will be the craziest workers comp [compensation] claim of all time'. And then I got to direct Fun House ones because one of the guys who did it was on vacation and the other guy was on a different brand at the time. So I was kind of just thrown into it by Bruce Prichard, I think kind of as a going away present. I just can't say enough about Bray [Wyatt]. I only worked with him twice but he's one of those people who stays with you." (20:02-21:01)

Although he only worked with Bray Wyatt twice, Rineman explained his impact and how tough it was for him when he learned of his passing:
"Brodie Stevens is someone I would liken to Bray Wyatt. I worked with Brodie for two summers. And [it was the] same thing. Brodie and Bray, you never forget them. They made me feel so wanted and it changes your approach to how you treat people. When we lost Bray last summer, god, it was so tough. I just wanted to go to a live event and text a friend or two and say 'Hey, I'm here in the crowd'. I just wanted to pass a message to Bray saying 'Dude, I still remember you and you probably don't remember me, but you know, I learned so much in just those two shoots we did. Also, he was the Gen Alpha's Undertaker. He was going to be their Undertaker. It's such a shame. Imagine if we were kids and The Undertaker got hurt. Again, it's the world of what-ifs." (21:02-22:23)

The Undertaker on his interaction with Bray Wyatt on the RAW 30th anniversary
One of the last wholesome moments of Bray Wyatt's career was the RAW 30th anniversary - where The Eater of Worlds and The Undertaker shared a moment after taking out LA Knight.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, The Undertaker said he will never reveal what was said between him and Bray Wyatt:
"No (on if he could reveal what he told Bray Wyatt). That was between Bray and I. It was a moment that we exchanged, and now, with him passing, it needs to stay between us." [From 00:40 to 00:56]
It's hard to argue against The Phenom for wanting that interaction to stay between the two of them. And that's how it will rightfully remain forever.
