Multi-time world champion Brock Lesnar has been away from WWE for over a year now, and many wrestling fans have been wondering whether they will see him again. As per a new report, The Beast is expected to make a return to the Stamford-based company.

The former Universal Champion was last seen at SummerSlam last year in August where he wrestled Cody Rhodes in the third of their trilogy bout. He lost to The American Nightmare, and the two stars embraced after the contest. It was reported that Lesnar was set to return at the Royal Rumble, but plans were scrapped after he was seemingly alluded to in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon.

WrestleVotes commented on the Beast Incarnate's status in WWE during the Live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass. According to him, Brock Lesnar returning to WWE is a huge possibility. When WrestleVotes was asked whether The Beast would come back to WWE, he simply responded with "Yes." Bill Apter added that his sources in the company told him that talks are ongoing between the two parties.

Brock Lesnar was seemingly referenced by Cody Rhodes on Monday Night RAW this week during his in-ring segment with Gunther. He was also apparently referenced during Seth Rollins' promo during the same episode. The Beast Incarnate didn't come back at the Royal Rumble this year, but he may make a surprise return as an entrant in the 30-man match next year.
