The WWE Universe suffered another unfortunate surprise last week when three notable talents departed from the company on Friday night. The outpouring of support from fans and talents has continued through Crown Jewel weekend. Baron Corbin has just taken to social media to send a heartwarming message to fans.

The Lone Wolf's contract expired and he exited World Wrestling Entertainment on Friday night, shortly before SmackDown hit the air. Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell on the other hand were released, while Corbin was informed his deal would not be renewed. There was immediate interest from smaller promotions about the 40-year-old as non-compete clauses do not apply to talents whose contracts have expired.

Corbin has had limited activity on X (fka Twitter) since his departure, but he shared a message for fans today to let them know he sees the support. The former NFL player thanked and commented on how the support helps. He included the "nice to meet you" GIF of Nicolas Cage from the film, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

"Just want to let everyone know I see all the messages and tweets. I appreciate it more than you know. It defn helps," Baron Corbin wrote.

Corbin's final WWE match came at SmackDown on October 18 in Columbia, SC, where he defeated Giovanni Vinci in a dark match. Corbin's last televised match took place on August 30 at SmackDown in Berlin, where he and Apollo Crews were defeated by Los Garza.

WWE and AEW stars send messages to Baron Corbin

World Wrestling Entertainment and All Elite Wrestling may compete with each other, but members of the rosters often come together when the wrestling world needs it. Current and former stars of both companies reached out to offer support to the recently released talents, along with Baron Corbin.

NXT's Lexis King sent a touching statement to Corbin and mentioned being his final opponent on the brand. AEW's Ricochet responded to The Lone Wolf's statement by declaring that he was the man. Former WWE star Tyrus, who appears as a news personality on FOX News along with related shows, also reached out to King Corbin. The former Brodus Clay seems to have a gig in mind for the 40-year-old.

"@BaronCorbinWWE yo hit me up... got some other doors to show you," Tyrus wrote.

Tyrus signed his WWE developmental contract in 2006 and was released on June 12, 2014. He had runs with TNA and the NWA but seems to stay busy with TV commentary.
