Batista began his transition into a successful actor more than a decade ago. He has now signed a major deal outside WWE.
Batista first made a name for himself as a professional wrestler in WWE. During this time, he accomplished quite a lot and won the World Championship multiple times. He was a top star in the company when he decided to use his star power to make a successful move to Hollywood.
The move worked out well for him as he became an established actor due to his role as Drax in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Apart from this, the former WWE star has several acting credits to his name and has been featured in prominent movies.
The Animal even launched his own production house called Dogbone Entertainment, which is active across film and television. They are focused on producing compelling dramas and action-packed stories. Dogbone Entertainment has produced My Spy: The Eternal City and The Killer's Game.

The production house has just made a major move by signing a deal with William Morris Endeavor (WME). However, the specifics of this deal are not known at this time. Interestingly enough, WME (aka Endeavor) owns WWE's parent company, TKO.
Maven claims Batista is a better actor than The Rock
The Rock was the first WWE Superstar to transition from the ring to a full-time career in Hollywood. Over the years, The Great One has appeared in several blockbuster movies and franchises. He was featured in the Fast & Furious series and even played the role of Black Adam for DC. In a way, The Rock paved the way for other wrestlers like John Cena and Batista to make the transition to the silver screen.
However, Maven stated during his interview on Vlad TV that he views Batista as a superior actor to The Rock.
"I think he's the best wrestler-turned-actor. A thousand times better than The Rock. [John] Cena's good, he's good, he's a great comedic actor." [2:29 – 2:42]
It will be interesting to see what this deal with WME could mean for Dogbone Entertainment.
