Bayley breaks character to send a warning to Naomi ahead of WWE SmackDown

WWE Superstar, Bayley, has sent a warning to her on-screen friend, Naomi, ahead of the upcoming edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The two former Women's Champions are scheduled to lock horns later tonight on the blue brand.

Last Friday, The Role Model and The Glow teamed up to face Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton in a Tag Team Match, with a special stipulation. If either superstar scored the pin over Jax's team, that person would challenge The Irresistible Force for her title at Bad Blood. However, in a surprising turn of events, both Naomi and Bayley pinned Jax together.

Later in the show, SmackDown GM, Nick Aldis, announced the two babyfaces would face each other on the September 27 edition of the show to determine the number-one contender for the WWE Women's Championship.

Ahead of the match, Naomi took to her X (fka Twitter) account to promote the upcoming match by sharing the match graphic. However, the former Damage CTRL leader did not appear amused with her picture on the graphic. She broke character and warned the 36-year-old ahead of their clash.

"You used this graphic of me? You’re done for," wrote Bayley.

Wrestling veteran predicts the outcome of Bayley vs Naomi match on WWE SmackDown

Former WWE manager, Dutch Mantell, recently shared his honest take on the finish to the Tag team Match last week. He also predicted how the number-one contender's match could pan out.

During his recent appearance on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell claimed he knew that last week's match would end via double pinfall. He was hopeful that WWE would surprise him with what happens next in the storyline.

However, the 74-year-old predicted Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton would interfere in the number-one contender's match, making it a three-way battle for the title at the premium live event.

"I figured that it was going to be double pin somewhere and then we are gonna choose from that. [...] Now they got another week to cover till we get a winner. That’s what wrestling is for. I don’t [know] where they are going, but they may surprise me. I hope they do. You know what I think? I think Tiffany and Nia Jax interfere in the match and turn it into a three way. Bayley lost the WWE Women's Championship to Nia Jax at SummerSlam last month. The Grand Slam Champion will look to go past Naomi to earn another shot at the title she recently held.
