Bayley has now addressed retiring from WWE. The star is only 35 years old at this time, but she has spoken about her feelings on hanging up her boots and what she wants to achieve before she finally gets to a place where she can't wrestle again.
The star spoke to the Orlando Sentinel recently, where she was asked several questions about her recent career in WWE, as well as working in NXT. She also talked about retiring and what's next for her.
Bayley said she wants to wrestle for as long as she can and does not want to retire yet. However, she admitted that she didn't want to go overboard. She added that she had some time left, and in that time, she wanted to cement her own legacy.
The Role Model added that she would hopefully be around when stars like Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez get to the main roster so that she could wrestle them, too.
Top WWE star blasted, compared to Winnie the Pooh RIGHT HERE
“I want to [wrestle] for as long as I can. I don’t want to go overboard, but I’ve still got some time left. I want to be able to cement a legacy that’s lasting — hopefully, I’ll be around when [current NXT stars] Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez get here so I can wrestle them and fulfill my big old ego.”
Bayley has a dream of what to do after she retires from WWE
While this is something that she can possibly start even when she's in WWE, Bayley has a dream of what to do after this.
She wanted to open a wrestling school and felt that it was closer than ever now.
“I’ve always had a dream of opening a wrestling school, so I think that’s closer than ever. I think I’ll always be a part of this.”
She ended by saying she always wanted to be a part of wrestling.
