Bayley just lost a match on WWE SmackDown after Damage CTRL refused to intervene on her behalf.

Bayley was the person responsible for forming Damage CTRL over a year ago. Initially, she played the role of the leader and would guide Dakota Kai and IYO SKY around. However, in recent weeks, it has looked as if The Role Model has lost all control of her faction.
It all started after Kairi Sane joined the group, a move that didn't seem to make Bayley very happy. Following that, Asuka also joined the faction and since then, The Role Model has been kept out of the loop of their plans. While she has helped out her stablemates at every turn, the same hasn't been reciprocated.

Tonight on the blue brand, Bayley went face-to-face with her longtime rival Bianca Belair. During the match, Bayley distracted the referee and expected the rest of Damage CTRL to help her out but they simply just stood at ringside. This resulted in Belair picking up the win.

Despite The Role Model's strong New Year predictions, it looks like things are still not fine between her and her stablemates.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
