On this week's episode of SmackDown, Bayley was pinned by the inaugural WWE Women's Speed Champion, Candice LeRae. On Twitter/X, she warned LeRae, who teamed up with Nia Jax amid Tiffany Stratton's absence.
Bayley failed to win the Women's Championship at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. The reigning champion, Nia Jax, defeated The Role Model at SummerSlam to win the title before winning the rematch in Atlanta.
On Twitter/X, Bayley gave props to LeRae for getting the victory for her side. She also warned her and Indi Hartwell ahead of next week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
".@CandiceLeRae @indi_hartwell You waited long enough…..Happy you finally showed up. See you next week," wrote Bayley.

On October 4, 2024, LeRae defeated IYO SKY to become the new WWE Women's Speed Champion.
WWE Superstar Bayley named Candice LeRae as an early influence in her career
Bayley is a former multi-time Women's Champion. She has held the SmackDown Women's Championship, NXT Women's Championship, and Women's Championship twice.
Speaking in an interview with the Under The Ring podcast, The Role Model named Candice LeRae as someone she followed in the early stages of her career. She said:
"I would say Candice LeRae, she was the only California girl at that time, so I remember seeing her and just being like, 'Man, if I can wrestle her and get over to Southern California, that would be really cool and I could learn a lot.'"
Bayley has had multiple ups and downs throughout the year. Earlier this year, she won the WWE Women's Championship by defeating IYO SKY at WrestleMania XL before losing the title to Nia Jax. It remains to be seen how she intends to close out the year.
