WWE star Bayley recently opened up about a major decision she made during her career and shared that she does not regret it. The veteran battled Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship at Bad Blood last month but came up short.
Speaking with 8 News Now, the former leader of Damage CTRL discussed turning heel back in the day. The former champion shared that it felt like she lost a connection with the fans and sometimes wondered what would have happened if she had never turned heel.
"I don’t know. Sometimes I think about where I would be with the fans because when I became a bad guy, I felt like I lost a genuine connection with fans where it was like, oh, they don’t know how they feel about me or whether they still wanna like me or what it was. It was a genuine disconnection. So sometimes I still think about, man, I wonder if I never would’ve done that, where I would be?" she said.
Bayley then added that turning heel was something she felt needed to happen to extend her career in the company.

"As a fan, I wanted to do everything. I wanna be the bad guy, I wanna be the good guy, I wanna get married on WWE. I wanna have all the crazy storylines so, that was the first taste of doing something different for myself. I cater to a lot of fans coming in, but that was something I felt I needed for my career, so I don’t regret that at all," she added. [Post Wrestling]
Bayley reveals what she wants to see from Jade Cargill in WWE
SmackDown star Bayley recently shared what she was hoping to see from Jade Cargill during her time in WWE.
Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview earlier this year, Bayley stated that she was excited to have Cargill in the promotion. She said that she was hoping to see consistency and a connection with the fans from Cargill moving forward. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions.
"I'm excited to have her. I think she's a very unique performer. Obviously, she has the look, so I'm interested to see what she brings to the division because I'm all about watching the division grow and what you can bring to the table, and I need to see consistency, I need to see you out there working, and I need to see that connection with the fans because I take this very personally."
