Bayley’s WWE RAW return revealed; special merchandise released

Bayley is arguably one of WWE's best all-around female superstars of the modern era. The four-time world champion has found record-breaking success on all three brands. Bayley appears to be headed for another championship reign, and now the SmackDown Superstar is returning to her old stomping grounds on RAW.

The Role Model joined World Wrestling Entertainment in December 2012, then hit the NXT ring the following month. Bayley was called up to the main roster on RAW in August 2016, and was drafted to SmackDown in April 2019. A dreadful 2021 injury led to the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champion returning at SummerSlam 2022, as a full-fledged heel on the red brand. The California native was drafted back to SmackDown almost two years ago, and has spent the past eleven months as a babyface.

WWE will present its second RAW Netflix episode tomorrow from the SAP Center in San Jose, CA. Bayley was born in the capital of Silicon Valley, and will be making her return at Monday's RAW. She took to X to reveal WWE Shop's custom SanJo-inspired homecoming merchandise, and a heads-up to her fans back home.

"TOMORROW! San Jose exclusive! See you at @SAPCenter my Bay Area familia [red heart emoji] [yellow heart emoji]," Bayley wrote with the photo below.

Bayley's last RAW outing came on May 29, 2023 as she and IYO SKY participated in a Fatal Four-Way for the vacant Women's Tag Team Championship, won by Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. She was also seen on the premiere episode of RAW on Netflix, having a chat with the RAW GM Adam Pearce.

Bayley earns major WWE championship opportunity

Bayley has once again earned a chance to capture championship gold. She is now the #1 contender to new WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton.

Friday's loaded SmackDown saw Bayley win a Fatal Four-Way over Nia Jax, Naomi, and Bianca Belair, to become Stratton's first televised challenger. Candice LeRae's interference continued throughout, but The Role Model pinned Naomi to win in 17 minutes.

The Center of The Universe will now defend against Bayley on next Friday's SmackDown in San Diego. Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to dethrone Jax on January 3, and her first defense will come against Bayley.
