Becky Lynch reveals moment when feud with WWE rival became dangerous

Becky Lynch recently shared a time when her rivalry against a popular WWE star became dangerous. The Man has not wrestled a match since her loss to Liv Morgan on the May 27 edition of RAW.

Lynch recently appeared on the Games with Names podcast hosted by former New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman. During the conversation, the veteran revealed that her rivalry with Bianca Belair in 2022 almost turned dangerous.

Lynch shared that the storyline called for her to try and cut off Belair's braid ahead of WrestleMania 38, but her rival saw it coming. The EST of WWE cut off some of The Man's hair instead and hit the former Women's World Champion with two KODs. The Irish star revealed that her face was too close to the scissors while being hit with the finisher and noted it could have been dangerous.

"I really liked going to cut Bianca's hair [as a heel], but then she turned it around on me. [I liked it] just because we'd led up to that so much and I think people really thought that it was going to happen. They were so mad about it because Bianca has this cool, awesome braid that she's able to do just amazing things with. But then she turned it around and then cut my hair off. She was KOD-ing me way too close to them scissors, [and it] could have been very dangerous. I could have lost an eye," Lynch said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc]

It was recently reported that Lynch is still on the company's internal roster despite her WWE contract expiring earlier this year.

Hulk Hogan comments on Becky Lynch's WWE hiatus

WWE legend Hulk Hogan recently shared his thoughts on Becky Lynch taking some time away from the company.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter earlier this year, Hogan claimed that Lynch was "solid as a rock" as a performer. The Hulkster added that the 37-year-old would have a difficult time managing her time between family and wrestling.

"She's [Becky Lynch] solid as a rock, and she's got her focus between career and family. It's going to be a real tough one to ride that rail, but she's on point," he said. [From 03:02 to 03:13]
