A wrestler with experience in WWE has now announced his retirement from wrestling once and for all. The star's career appears to have come to an end.
Derrick King wrestled in WWE in 2000 and had another brief run in 2006, but he was mostly known as a staple of Memphis Wrestling. The star is very well-loved and has now decided to end his career.
In an interview on Memphis Wrestling, Derrick King revealed that he is retiring. The 47-year-old said that life happens, and he has a 17-year-old son whom he adores, and he needed to now step away from wrestling once and for all.
"There comes a time when life happens, and I think this is the best time. I've done this for a long time, I got to do everything. I have a seventeen-year-old son whom I adore the most. And I think that it is time for me to step away from actually wrestling."

He was asked if he was announcing his retirement from competition, and he said that yes, he had a few loose ends to tie up, but after that, he was done with wrestling.
"I have a few loose ends to tie up, but once I am done with that, I am done with wrestling."

In many years, the star has managed to get a lot of success and has won several titles.
He was a three-time SAW Tag Team Champion, a CWFM Tag Team Champion, the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion, the WWC Tag Team Champion, a three-time PPW Young Guns Champion, a four-time PPW Tag Team Champion, and a NWA OVW Southern Tag Team Champion.
