WWE Superstar Bianca Belair recently praised a 32-year-old star. The name in question is her tag team partner, Jade Cargill.
The EST and The Storm are currently in their second reign as the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion. At Backlash France, they defeated The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) to win the tag titles, only to lose them to The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) at Clash at the Castle.
Belair and Cargill regained the Women's Tag Team Championship from Dawn and Fyre at the 2024 Bash in Berlin PLE. The duo successfully defended the title on the September 9, 2024, installment of Monday Night RAW.
In an interview with Jordan Mendoza of USA Today, Bianca Belair expressed her belief in the 32-year-old female star's potential to achieve great success in the wrestling industry. Belair sees Jade Cargill as someone who is capable of breaking down barriers and reaching the highest levels in the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut. The EST of WWE emphasized that it's ultimately up to Cargill to seize this opportunity and become a major star.
"Jade [Cargill], she's here to break glass ceilings.'' She added, " At this point, it's up to Jade if she wants to skyrocket, because it's there and she can be there, and if she doesn't get there, that's on you, girl, that's on you." [H/T: USA Today]
Bianca Belair discloses why her husband Montez Ford has not become a singles in WWE yet
Belair's husband, Montez Ford, is a member of The Street Profits along with Angelo Dawkins. Together, they have won the Tag Team championship multiple times.
Speaking on The Masked Man Show, The EST of WWE mentioned that she believes her husband, Montez Ford, is ready for a singles push in the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut. She acknowledged that the 34-year-old male star loves being in a tag team with Angelo Dawkins but sometimes struggles with the decision to pursue a singles career. Despite this internal conflict, Bianca Belair is confident in Ford's abilities and believes he will excel if given the opportunity.
"Yeah, I mean he's [Montez Ford] ready. He is ready. He loves being in a tag team, [Angelo] Dawkins is his brother, and sometimes he goes back and forth. He’s ready, then he gets guilty, he feels guilty. He’s like, 'That’s my boy, I should want to do as much as I can in this tag team.' But he’s ready. I always tell him, it’s just not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. All that man needs is the opportunity, and he will skyrocket," she said.
It would be exciting to see if WWE pushes one-half of The Street Profits as a singles career in the coming few weeks.
