Big E has landed a major role weeks after being kicked out of The New Day and has shared his thoughts. The former WWE Champion has been announced as this year's Rate Bowl ambassador.
The December 2, 2024, episode of RAW was a heartbreaking night for Big E. While he should have been celebrating The New Day's 10th anniversary, his former "brothers" Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods rudely kicked him out of the group.
Since then, he has received the support of both the WWE Universe and the superstars backstage, who have turned their backs on Kingston and Woods for disrespecting their former teammate. But, while they are struggling, E continues to raise his stock.
Taking to X, the 38-year-old shared the news of his new appointment and how he was honored to be the ambassador for this year's Rate Bowl. It's a huge annual event, and this year's game will see the Kansas State Wildcats take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

"Beyond honored to be the ambassador for this year’s @RateBowl!" wrote Big E.
It certainly must be a great moment for the usually joyful superstar. After all, as he has claimed time and again, he was and still is a huge fan of college football.
Big E has also landed a bit-part role on a television show
Representing college football isn't the only thing Big E has been doing. The 38-year-old also focuses on things outside of the world of sports, including acting. The former New Day star recently announced that he has stepped into the world of acting and played a bit-part role on a television show.
Taking to X, E claimed he was "thrilled to be a small part" of the new series Laid. The show premiered on Peacock on December 19, 2024, and based on the clip he shared, he seems to be playing the role of the heroine's ex-boyfriend. But, as he mentioned, it was a small role, and from the looks of it, his character passed away almost at the start of the show.
Regardless, this is exciting news from the 12-time champion. He is expanding his range, which can only be good for him at this point in his career.
