Former WWE Champion Big E has been paying close attention to what's going on with The New Day lately on Monday Night RAW. The 38-year-old star recently made a bold statement on whether the duo should stay together or part ways.
Lately, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston haven't been on the same page on Monday Night RAW. The legendary tag team has suffered a few losses, and Woods isn't okay with it. Meanwhile, Kingston has made some moves without his partner's consent, raising concerns about their future as a tandem.
In an interview with Sports Talk Philly, Big E was asked about the animosity between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. The former WWE Champion spoke highly of the two and mentioned that it was up to them whether they wanted to stay together or split, as they had numerous options due to their skills.
“Those guys know what they are doing. When I talk to them, I never really feel like I’m someone that needs to give them advice. They know. Sometimes, you just need to be reminded of what you know, and look, Kofi has accomplished incredible things in a singles capacity, and so has Woods. I think there is a route for those guys to amicably go their own way and do singles stuff. I think there is also a route for them to be together as a tag team. There are a lot of options for two incredibly talented guys. As much as they’ve done, I still feel like there is a lot left on the table." [H/T: Sports Talk Philly]

The New Day recently lost a match on WWE RAW
The New Day has changed drastically since Big E was sidelined due to a neck injury. After a run with the NXT Tag Team Championship, Kingston and Woods returned to WWE's main roster.
Earlier this year, they feuded with Imperium, delivering stellar matches. The Final Testament later targeted the legendary duo and attempted to manipulate Woods into betraying Kingston.
Luckily, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were able to push through the feud. However, things have changed between the two since the rivalry, as Woods is seemingly frustrated with Kofi Kingston's choices.
On a recent edition of WWE RAW, Woods went off on Kingston after the duo lost to American Made's Julius and Brutus Creed in a tag team match. It'll be interesting to see what's next for the multi-time champions.
