WWE RAW will begin its Netflix era on January 6, 2025. The massive partnership is sure to have a strong impact on the overall product with special episodes and other content down the line. In the meantime, Triple H and his team are not slowing down as they move forward with immense momentum. Plans have just been confirmed for a new special edition of RAW.
The New Day was formed a decade back, as Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods made their big debut as a trio on the November 28, 2014, edition of SmackDown, easily defeating Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, and Titus O'Neil. The faction quickly became massive fan-favorites with twelve tag team championship reigns, plus individual WWE Championship reigns for Kofi and Big E.
The faction found immense success together, racking up merchandise records and various achievements. Despite internal tension and a rumored split, Kofi and Xavier continue to operate as a tag team. Big E has been out of action since March 2022 with a serious injury. Adam Pearce announced earlier this month that WWE's red brand will celebrate The New Day with a special episode to mark their 10th anniversary.

The RAW General Manager did not elaborate too much, but it was later revealed that all three New Day members filmed content together at the company HQ. Speaking to TV Insider in a recent interview, Woods was asked what fans can expect from the celebration episode.

"We did film a bunch of stuff going through our historical things the past 10 years. It’s going to be a party. It’s going to be a huge party on RAW because that’s what we have done at WWE. Lots of people have forgotten wrestling is supposed to be fun. That’s why we came into the picture to remind everyone. Yes, you can be so angry or sad and feel these emotions from the show. At the same time, don’t forget the most important one: You’re supposed to be having fun. That’s what the celebration will be. Officials still have not confirmed the date of The New Day's RAW celebration. The November 25 episode airs next Monday from Glendale, AZ, but is the Survivor Series go-home show. The December 2 episode will feature the Survivor Series fallout, live from Everett, WA.
The New Day problems continue on WWE RAW
Tonight's taped WWE RAW will see the internal problems continue within The New Day. A split between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods has been teased for months.
Strife between Kingston and Woods continued last week as Kofi lost a singles match to Pete Dunne due to a distraction by Woods. After the match, Woods talked down to his tag team partner ahead of a shoving match, and more heated words.
Amid the rumored split, The New Day's last tag team bout came on November 4 in Saudi Arabia, which was a loss to The War Raiders. This came a week after Kingston and Woods lost a number-one contender's match for a future title shot.
