A former WWE Champion has recently been making appearances in TNA, which Bill Apter believes is a big help for the promotion. The former champion in question, Jeff Hardy, has also been a part of AEW in recent years.

While Jeff Hardy has carved an undeniable legacy for himself during his career, his run in Tony Khan's promotion hardly did anything to do justice to his talents. A DUI arrest halted much of his planned storyline in the Jacksonville-based promotion, and his subsequent matches also featured some glaring botches.

Jeff's return to TNA at Against All Odds was received warmly by fans, as he rushed in to help his brother Matt. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter stated that TNA could do with the help of legendary names such as The Hardy Boyz showing up. Such big names help people sit up and take notice of a promotion.

"Again TNA could use the name recognition. TNA is doing great, but a lot of people don't recognise the names of a lot of their guys. So you bring the Hardys in, and you know you are gonna have the people like, 'Oh my god the Hardys are there? I gotta see what they look like.' Then they get familiar with the rest of the roster," said Apter. [4:57 onwards]

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long also agreed with Bill Apter

Teddy Long was full of praise for Jeff Hardy and his brother Matt while agreeing with Bill Apter's analysis.

Speaking on the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, the WWE Hall of Famer stated that the Hardy brothers had worked hard to achieve their status. He said was proud of the two brothers for all the hard work they had put in throughout their careers and that he was also happy for them.

"Ya good for them. Jeff and Matt they work real hard together man. They have had some trials and tribulations, believe me. And they have overcome such a lot man, and they are doing so great now man. I am so proud of both of them," said Long. [5:27 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for the former WWE Superstars in TNA.
