Paul Heyman has been involved with Roman Reigns ever since he turned heel in 2020. Since then, he has been The Wiseman of the Tribal Chief. His loyalty to The Head of the Table has been unwavering.
Even after Reigns lost his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Heyman still believed in him. On the June 28, 2024, episode of SmackDown, The Wiseman's loyalty was tested again when Solo Sikoa asked him to acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief. Upon refusing to do so, Solo and his group put Heyman through an announcer's table.

Since then, Heyman has not been seen on WWE TV. Even when Reigns returned to feud with the new Bloodline, Paul was nowhere to be seen. Last week, Reigns tried to contact his Wiseman but the latter was unreachable.
Tonight on the blue brand, Solo Sikoa asked Reigns and the OG Bloodline to surrender and join his faction. However, Paul Heyman made his first WWE televised appearance in nearly five months and announced that he had found a fifth member to join Reigns' group - CM Punk.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
