A member of The Bloodline sent a message today on social media after being attacked by Jey Uso this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown. The former Intercontinental Champion made a surprise appearance during the main event to cost his former faction a major match.
The Bloodline provided a distraction last Monday night and Bron Breakker capitalized to capture the Intercontinental Championship from Jey Uso on RAW. Main Event Jey got his revenge by interfering in the faction's WWE Tag Team Championship defense against the Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown's latest edition. He cost Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa the titles and then shared a hug with his twin brother Jimmy Uso as Roman Reigns watched on from the entrance ramp as the show concluded.
Tama Tonga took to his X (fka Twitter) account today to respond to a WWE post asking if somebody said "Yeet," following Jey Uso's appearance on SmackDown. He noted that he did not say the popular catchphrase as seen in his post below.
"Not me," he wrote.
Former WWE writer highlights issue with Jey Uso attacking The Bloodline on SmackDown
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently shared the issue he had with Jey Uso showing up on SmackDown this past Friday night to attack The Bloodline.
On the latest edition of BroDown, the veteran noted that Uso should have helped his family earlier. Russo pointed out that the 39-year-old didn't seem to want to help until after he lost the Intercontinental Championship, and that made it seem like he valued the title more than his own family.
"Last week, they dragged Jimmy out to the stage, and that wasn't enough to bring Jey out, but losing his belt was? That's what I'm talking about. Blood is thicker than water. Blood is thicker than a belt. They could have done exactly what you said. Because Jey came and helped, they screwed him out of the title. That's why they screwed him out of the title. They did it the reverse, and it didn't have the same effect," he said.
Jimmy Uso was kicked out of The Bloodline after losing to his twin brother at WWE WrestleMania XL. He returned earlier this month at Bad Blood to help Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeat his former faction in a tag team match.
