WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently discussed the ongoing Bloodline civil war. He claimed a faction member could end Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship reign after a recent development.
In April 2024, The American Nightmare captured the Undisputed WWE Championship after pinning Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. The Original Tribal Chief was recently pinned for the second time this year by Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel. Speaking on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the Hall of Famer claimed Sikoa's triumph over Reigns could lead to a massive push for the 31-year-old superstar.
The wrestling legend pointed out that although he previously predicted that Reigns could dethrone Rhodes, he can now see Sikoa be the one to take the championship off The American Nightmare after pinning the former Universal Champion at Crown Jewel:
"Solo's a made man. You know, for that to happen, there's definitely we see plans within this kid that, you know, what can be the next level for him? You know, we talked about does he need a belt. Well, after this one, two, three on Roman, I almost kinda, you know, I can see maybe Solo be the one to take it off of Cody. Cuz I talked about maybe Roman will come back and take it off of Cody, you know, but after seeing that, you beat the GOAT. You beat the GOAT and I believe it was two spikes, two or three, whatever it was, right? But, you know, now, it's like, 'Okay, you beat the GOAT, now you're considered the GOAT,'" he said. Solo Sikoa pinned Cody Rhodes at WWE Money in the Bank
In July, Solo Sikoa pinned Cody Rhodes to lead The Bloodline to defeat The American Nightmare, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton in a Six-Man Tag Team match at Money in the Bank.
The self-proclaimed Tribal Chief later challenged the Undisputed WWE Champion for the title at SummerSlam. However, he lost the Bloodline Rules match after interference from a returning Roman Reigns. Sikoa had another opportunity to capture the title when he squared off against Rhodes in a Steel Cage match on the September 13, 2024, edition of SmackDown. However, he failed to accomplish the mission again.
Sikoa is now expected to lead The Bloodline to face the OG Bloodline in a WarGames match at Survivor Series. It would be interesting to see if he will later receive another chance to fight Rhodes for the title.
