Brock Lesnar is currently on a hiatus from WWE, with recent reports indicating that he is no longer under contract with WWE. But, it's only a matter of time before The Beast returns to the ring, and WWE may bring him back once the crowds return, as he has several dream matches still pending in WWE.
One dream match that has been talked about for years, but hasn't come to fruition is Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley. Lashley and Lesnar have never been in WWE at the same time, which is why this dream match, that fans have been clamouring for, has never happened.
Bobby Lashley reveals how he will finish off Brock Lesnar in a match in WWE
Bobby Lashley was a recent guest on Corey Graves' After The Bell podcast, where he spoke about Brock Lesnar. The Hurt Business member said that Lesnar has been running from him in WWE.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"He's been running from me. You see it, when I first came in he left; when I left, he came back, when I came back, he left... he's been running from me this whole time. I met Brock for the first time maybe a year ago. Never crossed paths with him. But I've been talking about him from the day that I started. So for me, somebody once told me that 'Brock has this other stuff'... alright, that's cool. But if the fans want it, I don't see why you don't give it to them. And they've been yelling about it."
Lashley said that he doesn't mind anything and that he loves fighting, and that he wouldn't even mind fighting Lesnar in a cage (MMA), or pro wrestling. He said that he would "definitely" hit the shooting star press on Lesnar.
"I would definitely hit that (shooting star press) on him. And I'll even get to the top rope. But that's something that's needed to happen, either I went for it and he stood up and caught me, or he took it and kicked out of it, or I hit him and pinned him, because that match is that big that it would need a big punch.
Lesnar had used the Shooting Star Press against Kurt Angle nearly two decades ago and suffered a concussion.
This is one of dream match that could very well headline WrestleMania.
