It has been a strange few months on WWE SmackDown for the team once known as The Pride since Bobby Lashley disappeared several weeks ago and hasn't returned.
The Street Profits, B-Fab, and Bobby Lashley became a faction together ahead of Lashley's WWE exit, and the other three stars have remained together, even though Lashley's departure is yet to be addressed on-screen.
Off-screen, Angelo Dawkins had some fantastic news to share when his second son arrived last night, something that many WWE stars have shared their congratulations.
Lashley is one of the stars who have sent a message congratulating his former partner and teammate, referring to him as "fam," which proves that the duo is still close despite the recent changes.
Lashley is expected to reunite with MVP, and Shelton Benjamin and The Hurt Business could be back with a different name if the trio heads to AEW.
Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits were a formidable WWE pairing
The Street Profits had been pushing to be taken seriously in WWE for several months before Lashley arrived and took them under his wing. The trio was then quite the pairing before B-Fab also joined, and it seemed as though they could become a force to be reckoned with.
MVP has been outspoken about the way Lashley was booked ahead of his WWE exit, and it seems that the ball was dropped with this stable. There were so many options for them, but now it seems that they have been pushed into a feud with The Bloodline.
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa of The Bloodline are the current tag team champions, and it seems that they could have some competition from The Profits in the weeks to come.
