WWE is just a few hours away from presenting tonight's SmackDown, and Bobby Lashley has gone viral with the new name for his faction.
The All Mighty and The Street Profits linked up in the summer to run wild on the blue brand. After a rocky start, it was clear that Lashley, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins were the new heels of the locker room as they went to war with the LWO. However, things changed as WWE took the group for a sudden babyface turn when they were attacked by Karrion Kross and the returning Authors of Pain last week.
Lashley took to X this afternoon and revealed the official name for his alliance with The Street Profits. The 47-year-old edited his X bio to reveal that faction is now called The Pride. He declared himself to be the leader.
"#SmackDown’s All-Mighty, and leader of THE PRIDE [fist emoji] | Former WWE Champion. MMA Fighter | Professional Wrestler | Business Professional | Nutrabolics Athlete," he wrote as the new bio.
The Pride have teamed up at several non-televised WWE live events, but their only match on TV came at Fastlane on October 7. They were defeated by Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, and Carlito.
Bobby Lashley warns WWE locker room
The New Year's Revolution edition of WWE SmackDown held last Friday saw Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins cut a promo about how they planned to dominate 2024.
The Pride made it known they were coming for gold this year, including the Undisputed Tag Team Championship, but they were then attacked by Karrion Kross and The Authors of Pain. The segment ended with Kross standing with the returning Akam and Rezar.
Lashley also declared himself for the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble before the attack. He took to Instagram this week to comment on what's to come.
"Tough situations build strong people. 2023 is over! This year we are coming for it ALL and nothing less! It’s OUR TIME! #TheAllMighty #TheStreetProfits #Smackdown #suitgame," he wrote with a photo of The Pride.
The Pride is expected to continue their new feud with Kross and AOP on tonight's SmackDown, but they have not been announced for a match as of now. Kross is also expected for the Men's Royal Rumble, which should be confirmed tonight.
