Current NXT commentator Booker T recently opened up about the responsibilities of veteran wrestler William Regal as the Vice President of Global Talent Development.
On a recent episode of Hall of Fame, a fan asked the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion about Regal's role and job description in WWE. The legendary wrestler stayed mum on the exact nature of the job but gave hints at what the Regal is currently doing.
Booker T explained that he recently ran into William Regal during an NXT show. Regal returned to WWE in 2023 after a brief stint in AEW, where he established the Blackpool Combat Club with Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta.
"He's [William Regal] still making money moves. Let's just say that. I don't want to give away his role. He had not spoken something like that; his title. I wouldn't want to give it a title. I could tell you he's very very instrumental in the young guys and the young guys that are coming up and making it to the next level," Booker T said. [50:05 - 55:22]

Booker T wants to confront AEW's Tony Khan
Tony Khan made some unpleasant comments about WWE a few weeks ago, comparing the company to Harvey Weinstein. Booker T was one of several WWE stars who reacted to Khan's comments.
The Hall of Famer recently stated on his podcast that he wanted to confront the AEW owner.
"Tony Khan made some statements about the company that I work for, which I really take offense to. Because when you say stuff like what Tony Kahn said, it's kind of like a blanket statement on everybody. And I've worked with that company for more than 20 years, and I really take offense to a lot of things. If I see him in person, I like to say stuff to people in person and say, you know, 'Hey, man, I really, you know, don't feel a certain way!'" Booker T said.
Khan has been taking shots at WWE since AEW was founded in 2019. It will be interesting to see how the AEW honcho reacts to the latest comments from Booker T.
