WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently reacted to an AEW star possibly jumping ship soon. Ricky Starks has been linked to WWE and the current NXT color commentator would like to see him join the company's third brand.

Starks made headlines after he was seen celebrating Cody Rhodes' triumph at WrestleMania 40 inside a special suite in Philadelphia. He has been absent on AEW television since March and is heavily rumored to be joining WWE once he becomes a free agent.

On the most recent episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Brad Gilmore and Booker T discussed the possibility of Ricky Starks joining WWE. The five-time WCW World Champion would like to see it happen, comparing him to Ethan Page, who has had a lot of success in NXT since signing in May.

"Do I think he can fit in NXT right now? Of course. I mean, just like Ethan Page, he can make a huge difference as far as the roster goes. He is very charismatic. He is a guy with upside. As far as Ricky Starks' work, I haven't really gotten a chance to really see him go out there and do a lot in the ring. But just like Ethan Page when he came to NXT, I didn't see a lot of him either. He showed me what he was worth very quickly, almost immediately... A guy like Starks, if he came over, he'll do the same thing," Booker T said. [From 30:30 to 31:26]

Real-life Bloodline member considers Booker T his family

Zilla Fatu, the son of former WWE Superstar Umaga, has been making some noise on the independent scene. Fatu is the current Reality of Wrestling Champion, calling the promotion's founder, Booker T, his family.

In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Fatu discussed what it's like to have someone like Booker as a trainer and mentor.

"Me and Book, we talk every day. It’s a blessing to have him in my corner, as a friend, as a mentor, as an uncle that I look up to. It’s just pretty dope to have him on my side because I can just call him and if I have any questions, he'll give me the answers," Fatu said. [H/T: Wrestling, Inc.]
