Brandi Rhodes shared her thoughts regarding some recent events on SmackDown, where her husband, Cody Rhodes, is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion. This prompted Ivy Nile to issue a warning to the 41-year-old.
This past Friday, The American Nightmare challenged Chad Gable to a match after Gable interrupted Cody in the night's opening segment. The two headlined SmackDown, with Rhodes taking home the win. However, during the bout, American Made engaged in some shenanigans, which prompted the referee to ban them from ringside ultimately.
Taking to X/Twitter, Brandi Rhodes claimed that she would never interfere in any match the way Ivy Nile did in SmackDown's main event. Nile retorted with "Stay in your lane" to the former WWE ring announcer:
"Ok… stay in your lane girl," Ivy Nile wrote.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Despite being assigned to WWE RAW, American Made's appearance on the blue brand may have been out of left field. According to Chad Gable, "the transfer window is about to open" as SmackDown's sheriff, Nick Aldis, seemingly has asked him to join the Friday show.
Brandi Rhodes fires shots at Kevin Owens ahead of Saturday Night's Main Event
In the show-closing moments of SmackDown, Kevin Owens surfaced out of nowhere, attacking The American Nightmare. The show ended with them brawling relentlessly as the staff tried to separate them.
Later on social media, Brandi Rhodes also commented on the former Universal Champion's actions. She wrote that Owens used to be her friend.
Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against The Prizefighter at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. The two men have had some major difference in opinion of late, but it is Owens who decided to end his friendship with Rhodes.
It all started following Bad Blood when Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes for teaming with Roman Reigns, The Prizefighter's arch-rival. A few weeks ago, things escalated when Owens did the same thing to Randy Orton, injuring Orton.
This was the straw that broke the camel's back, as The American Nightmare immediately challenged Kevin Owens to a match so that they could settle things once and for all.
Saturday Night's Main Event will air live from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York, on December 14!
