Braun Strowman & 5'1" female star defeats Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio after SmackDown goes off the air

Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio suffered a crushing defeat after SmackDown went off the air to Braun Strowman and a 5'1" female star. The unexpected team picked up a massive win.

This week, the scheduled dark match after SmackDown was Liv Morgan against the 5'1" Damage CTRL star Kairi Sane. While not a full-fledged babyface yet, Kairi Sane was the one booked to challenge the Women's World Champion. However, Dominik Mysterio's repeated interference led to Braun Strowman coming out - resulting in a Mixed Tag Team match.

As reported by a fan in attendance, Kairi Sane hit a Frog Splash from Braun Strowman's shoulders to pin the Women's World Champion and pick up the win:

It was indeed a random pairing for Strowman and Kairi Sane, but one that worked out. Under normal circumstances for a dark match, Morgan would have won, but this is an interesting tidbit that could potentially determine a future match.

Kairi Sane hasn't been put in a position where she looks like she'll be challenging Morgan, but you never know what will happen. Damage CTRL has seemingly been turning face in their battle against Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler.

This must have been a fun one to send the crowd home happy.
