WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has been confirmed for an upcoming indie wrestling show. He has taken to social media to make an announcement regarding the event.

The Monster of All Monsters has been off TV for several months, but he's still part of the Stamford-based company. He was involved in a feud with Bronson Reed on RAW, which saw the two stars try to destroy each other whenever they were in each other's vicinity. The former Universal Champion's last televised match took place on the September 30 episode of the red brand.

Braun Strowman will make an appearance at Great Lakes Championship Wrestling's upcoming event called Blizzard Brawl. He will be the special guest referee for Al Snow and Kal Herro vs. Santino Marella and Damien Sandow. The WWE RAW star took to X/Twitter to announce that he's excited about the event and that all of his proceeds will be donated to charity.

"Super excited for this weekend all proceeds I do at this event will donated to charity. Helping to fix the damn in Neosho Wi and to build a new playground at Honor Elementary. See you soon Wisconsin!!!" wrote Strowman.

Braun Strowman recalls beating Goldberg at WrestleMania 36

The Monster of All Monsters defeated Goldberg WrestleMania 36 to capture the Universal Championship. The match was only two minutes long.

Braun Strowman spoke to Chris Van Vliet in an interview and spoke about being the first person to squash the WCW Legend.

"I'm the only person to ever squash Bill Goldberg. [What did that match mean to you?] Man, it meant the world because like I said, as a kid growing up, idolizing him to becoming friends with him, man... you know, unfortunate circumstances with everything going on with the pandemic, what happened... he wanted me. So, he picked me... to do that, and do the honors, and pass that torch," Braun Strowman said.
