Braun Strowman was able to defeat Bronson Reed this past week on WWE RAW thanks to the help of Seth Rollins. Despite the interference, this was a huge win for Strowman given the form that Bronson Reed has been in over the past few weeks.
Strowman reportedly suffered a torn groin as part of the match and it seems that it could sideline him for several weeks. Strowman himself has recently taken to Instagram and shared the fact that he is in an ice bath seemingly rehabbing the injury.
Strowman's injury status is currently unconfirmed but this update appears to show that he is in significant pain following his match. It is also unclear whether he will appear on RAW next week.
Reed and Strowman had been battling it out for several weeks and finally, Adam Pearce decided to put them in a Last Monster Standing Match that would allow them to throw everything they had at each other, and it was The Moster Among Men who came out on top.
Will Braun Strowman's WWE push be canceled following his injury?
Braun Strowman was clearly set to be pushed following his victory over Reed and now depending on how severe his injury is, his push could be canceled or postponed.
Depending on what grade tear Strowman has, he could be out for one to two weeks with a Grade A tear or up to four months with a Grade C tear which could also need surgery.
Strowman was walking gingerly mid-way through the match and some of the higher octane moves were seemingly delivered in slow motion because Strowman was struggling to walk. Prolonging the match could have made it much worse, but as noted above it is unknown how severe the injury is and how this will affect The Monster Among Men heading into the final stint of 2024.
