Braun Strowman was reportedly injured last week on WWE RAW as part of his Last Monster Standing Match against Bronson Reed. Despite the setback, Strowman was able to finish the bout and pick up the win thanks to interference from Seth Rollins.
Strowman has been quiet about the injury over the past week, but recently shared an update on his Instagram account where he confirmed that he had suffered a torn groin.
The bruising can be seen on Strowman's leg and he was able to reveal that he suffered the injury two minutes into the match and was still able to finish despite the pain.
Strowman's future is now unclear since he could be out for a matter of weeks or it could be up to six months or even longer if he requires surgery to fix the tear. The bruising seems to show that this was a pretty serious injury.
Braun Strowman's WWE push may be canceled
Strowman's win over Bronson Reed is huge since Reed has been pushed as a real monster on RAW over the past few weeks.
Seth Rollins' interference means that Reed will now head into a story with the former World Heavyweight Champion. This means that Braun Strowman could now walk into a much bigger story, especially one that could lead to him winning a world title.
Braun Strowman has been pushed as the Monster of all Monsters, but he hasn't been at the top of the company for a long time. The man himself only returned a few months ago from a serious injury, a back problem that sidelined him for the best part of a year for which he required surgery.
It's unclear if he will now have his push canceled since it's not known how long he will be out of action. If the current injury is severe then it might need surgery, leading to creative's plans for him being put on hold.
