Braun Strowman explains why he won’t join The Wyatt Sicks despite family connections

WWE Superstar Braun Strowman revealed why he is staying as far away as possible from The Wyatt Sicks. The Monster Among Men also explained why he would never join the mysterious faction despite its link with his former stablemate, the late Bray Wyatt.

The Wyatt Sicks made their debut on the RAW following WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. In one of the VHS tapes played on the red brand, Bo Dallas stated that the group wanted to carry forward Bray's legacy. The stable also features Erick Rowan, one of the original Wyatt Family members.

Braun Strowman also made his main roster debut as a part of The Wyatt Family. The 40-year-old was a close friend of The Eater of Worlds in real life as well, as good as family. So, when the Uncle Howdy-led faction debuted on RAW earlier this year, several fans expected Strowman to join forces with the group.

During his recent appearance on The Ringer, Braun Strowman claimed he is trying to distance himself from The Wyatt Sicks. The former WWE Universal Champion mentioned that he fears the faction can bring out the monster that he has been hiding inside himself for the safety of others around him and his own.

"They’re fu**ing terrifying. There’s no other way to put it. I’ve said this a couple of times in interviews. I’m purposely trying to stay as far away as I can right now because that part of me I work really hard to put away. There’s a monster instead of this monster, and I feel him rattle his cage because there’s something about them that I can feel myself wanting to be pulled. I’m fighting it. I don’t want to go there. I don’t want to let him back out. If they’re able to pull it back out of me, I fear for myself. I fear for anything that’s around me. I’m not a good person when it comes out, and I’m very good at doing bad things to people," said Braun Strowman. [H/T: Fightful]

The Wyatt Sicks will compete in a match for the first time tonight on RAW

On tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW, The Wyatt Sicks will compete inside the squared circle for the first time since their arrival about two and a half months ago.

Last week, the mysterious faction confronted Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers while they were attacking The Alpha Academy. The members of the group unmasked themselves on television for the first time as they launched an attack on the heels. Later, a match between faction members and the team of Master Gable & the Creed Brothers was made official.

It will be interesting to see what The Wyatt Sicks have to offer inside the squared circle after weeks of buildup and storytelling.
