Braun Strowman sends a four-word message to current WWE champion just days after returning to the company; reacts to historic moment

Braun Strowman sent a four-word message to Chelsea Green after she became the inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion. Green defeated Michin at Saturday Night's Main Event to win the title.

Green defeated Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in a Triple Threat Match in the first round of the Women's United States Championship Tournament. She defeated Bayley in the semi-final, which took place on the final SmackDown before Saturday Night's Main Event.

On Instagram, Green shared a heartfelt post after winning the Women's United States Championship. Her post caught the attention of Strowman, who sent a four-word message congratulating the newly crowned champion.

Braun Strowman opened up about his WWE return in 2022

Braun Strowman returned to WWE on the September 5, 2022, edition of Monday Night RAW. He was previously released during the pandemic budget cuts.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet in an interview, Strowman opened up about returning to the Stamford-based promotion, claiming he was put on earth to be a WWE Superstar. He said:

“I knew, I knew for a fact. And that’s what I said, I got reached out by everybody, come here, come wrestle for us. And I’ve said it time and time again. I’m loyal to this company. Because what this company has done for me, my family, my loved ones, I’m just loyal. And I knew for a fact that I would be back because this is where I belong. I truly believe I was put on this earth to be a WWE Superstar."

Strowman returned to in-ring action on the latest edition of WWE SmackDown. He quickly defeated Carmelo Hayes. This was the former Universal Champion's first televised appearance since his victory over Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing Match on WWE RAW.
