WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has been absent from television for three weeks due to injury. Amid his hiatus from in-ring action, The Monster of All Monsters has surprisingly lost some weight.

The 41-year-old last WWE match was against Bronson Reed on the September edition of Monday Night RAW. Although Strowman scored a win after interference from former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, he tore his groin during the match.

Braun recently took to Instagram Stories to share a surprising update amid his absence. The former WWE Universal Champion got on a weighing scale, showing his weight to be around 361 lbs. Strowman, who used to be 385lbs, has significantly put off some pounds while recovering from his injury.

Wrestling veteran predicts Braun Strowman could challenge for a major WWE Title soon

Braun Strowman hasn't held a title since losing the Universal Championship to The Fiend at SummerSlam 2020 in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. However, former WWE Head Writer Vince Russo recently predicted that The Monster of All Monsters could challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

In an earlier edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing With Russo, the 63-year-old expressed frustration over WWE's recent booking decisions. Russo predicted that Strowman could be the next opponent for The American Nightmare at an upcoming premium live event, given how the wrestling promotion has been putting together title matches lately.

"Bro, he [Braun Strowman] could be an opponent for Cody [Rhodes]," Russo said. "I mean, that's the way they're booking now, bro. They're just throwing people in there. You could definitely get a pay-per-view match out of him and Cody."

Cody Rhodes is scheduled to lock horns with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in a Champion vs Champion Match for the Crown Jewel Title at the Saudi Premium Live Event. After the show, Rhodes would most likely turn his attention to Kevin Owens, who attacked him backstage at WWE Bad Blood.
