WWE Superstar Karrion Kross recently shed light on the late Bray Wyatt's idea for a former champion who retired from in-ring action and left the Stamford-based company in 2016. The popular star returned to the wrestling promotion in 2020 and has been a part of the broadcast team ever since.

Wade Barrett moved to Monday Night RAW to call the action alongside the debuting Joe Tessitore in September. However, the two commentators will be replaced by Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on January 6 when the red brand debuts on Netflix.

During a recent interview with Sam Roberts on Notsam Wrestling, Karrion Kross claimed that one of Bray Wyatt's many ideas was to work with Wade Barrett. The Final Testament leader added that The Eater of Worlds wanted the former five-time Intercontinental Champion to be his inside commentator. He further shed light on how Barrett would have shown his true colors one day.

"He had one crazy idea. He wanted Wade Barrett to be an inside commentary guy. One day, Wade was going to get up and Bullhammer somebody, pull open the shirt, and he had whatever the [logo] idea was on the shirt," he said. [H/T: Fightful]

Karrion Kross sheds light on a major project he was about to do alongside Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt and Karrion Kross were released from WWE in 2021. The two-time NXT Champion recently made a massive revelation about a project the two stars were working on before the Stamford-based promotion signed them back.

In the same interview, Kross stated that he and Bray Wyatt were about to do an episodic wrestling show focused primarily on the two performers. However, the plans were dropped once Triple H contacted him.

"[Bray] and I were about to do an episodic wrestling show. We both got a pilot and the show was written primarily around him and I, and this giant confrontation between him and I building for the first season. Hunter reached out to me, and he said like, 'Let's talk next week.' So I buzz him and I'm like, 'Dude, I think he's going to ask us to come back. What do we do? It was feeling pretty serious that the show was going to [happen]. We just didn't know when it was going to take off. We were both really excited about it, like a dream project. And he's like, 'Dude, I think we got to go home.' He's like, 'Hunter got the ship. Is there a better person to work for on the entire planet? I was like, 'No, there's not,'" Kross said.

Karrion Kross and his stablemates are currently feuding with The Wyatt Sicks, the group led by Bray Wyatt's real-life brother Bo Dallas (aka Uncle Howdy).
