BREAKING: Ava makes major announcement before WWE Deadline

WWE NXT General Manager Ava made a massive announcement ahead of Deadline 2024. The GM confirmed that a 34-year-old star has not been medically cleared to compete in a major match at the premium live event in Minneapolis.

Eddy Thorpe emerged victorious in the Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Last Chance Fatal Four Way Match on the December 3 edition of NXT. He defeated Cedric Alexander, Lexis King, and Axiom. However, in a surprising turn of events, The Alpha Wolf was attacked by an unknown assailant backstage on the black-and-silver brand.

In a video post on Instagram before WWE NXT Deadline, Ava announced that Eddy Thorpe was medically ruled out of the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge due to the heinous attack. She also confirmed that she would find a replacement for the 34-year-old superstar.

"Due to the heinous attack he suffered this past Tuesday, Eddy Thorpe has been ruled out of the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge. We still don't know who attacked Eddy and we're continuing to look into this situation. However, for Deadline tonight, I will find a suitable replacement to take Eddy's spot in the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge," she said.

Ethan Page, Nathan Frazer, Je'Von Evans, and Wes Lee are the other athletes scheduled to compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.

Fans will need to wait and see which WWE Superstar will replace Eddy Thorpe in this contest later tonight.
