In what might come as a surprise to some and be less surprising to others, there was a huge championship change on Monday Night RAW. The match, which happened later on the show while RAW was technically on the air (45 minutes in), saw a title reign end after 175 days.
By now, you may have guessed that the titles in question are none other than the World Tag Team Championship. There was a rematch set up between The Judgment Day's Finn Balor & JD McDonagh against The War Raiders - the latter of whom seem to be finding a new lease on their WWE careers.
As you may have expected, the World Tag Team Titles changed hands after 175 days courtesy of Damian Priest's interference - making The War Raiders two-time champions.
Fans will be happy to see The Judgment Day dethroned in favor of a team they deem more deserving of the titles. The War Raiders' reverting to their original name was already a huge bonus, and they have failed on one attempt to capture the titles since then.
It has been five long years since Erik and Ivar have been tag team champions - where they held the RAW Tag Team Championship.
Congratulations to The War Raiders!
