WWE has now made a huge announcement about RAW and the change has happened after 12 years. The announcement has been made official.
For a long time now, WWE RAW has been a three-hour show. The change first happened back in 2012 after the 1000th episode of the brand. The change was made permanent and has seen the show be a three-hour program which has seen a lot of criticism from fans. There has been feedback saying that a weekly three-hour show was too much for every fan and it could not retain the attention of fans. Now it seems like Triple H and the other WWE hierarchy have listened to fans' pleas.
After a long time, RAW won't be on USA Network anymore. The show is shifting to Netflix in 2025. During RAW though, an announcement was made by the company that the show would be two hours long instead of three.
In a tweet posted on X/Twitter, the company's official account stated that WWE RAW on USA Network would be moving to a two-hour slot between 8 PM and 10 PM EST from October 7, instead of the usual 8 PM to 11 PM EST that has been the case for the past 12 years.
The announcement went on to say that this would continue until the end of 2024. After this, the show will be moving to Netflix.
It's not clear at this time if it will continue to be two hours long.
