Bron Breakker is a "little sensitive," 40-year-old recalls as he expresses interest to form tag team on WWE RAW

Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker may have taken a backseat since his second reign commenced on WWE RAW, but it is an undeniable sentiment that he is destined for big things. Breakker's former tag team partner Baron Corbin, who recently parted ways with the Stamford-based promotion, wanted to reunite with him on the flagship show after the Netflix move.

Baron Corbin's exit was unexpected to many. He admitted that the decision caught him off-guard as he was shooting some commercials for WWE's Netflix debut. Before getting drafted to SmackDown in April, The Lone Wolf was tagging alongside Bron Breakker in NXT. They called themselves Wolf Dogs. In an interview with Adam Barnard on The Takedown on SI before his contract expired, Baron Corbin opened up about his off-screen friendship with Bron Breakker.

According to the former Money in the Bank and King of the Ring winner, the young stalwart is a "little sensitive," so he used to rile up the latter. This dynamic was used on-screen. Corbin also noted that they simply riffed stuff as it came rather than working on scripted promos:

"I always give Bron [Breakker] a lot of trouble, like a younger brother, football locker room buddy—pick on him a little bit, he's a little bit sensitive sometimes, so I can get him riled up pretty quick, and it's a lot of fun to do that, to irritate him," Corbin said. He continued, "A lot of our stuff on camera is not scripted, it was just us kind of riffing. Even the Wolf Dogs thing, he said that to be funny and then it stuck." [From 26:59 to 27:26]

The Lone Wolf praised Bron Breakker, calling him a bonafide future World Champion, before adding that he hopes to reform Wolf Dogs on WWE RAW and win the tag team titles on the main roster:

"I would love to see him go on to become world champion and then, a year and a half from now, we do a Wolf Dogs reunite, like, let's get some tag titles on the main roster." [From 27:35 to 27:45]

Baron Corbin wanted to form a "motorcycle gang" faction with Bron Breakker on WWE RAW

Baron Corbin was seen using a motorcycle during his time in NXT, something he incorporated into his on-screen persona there. He further added during the conversation that him and Bron Breakker could form a biker gang.

The Lone Wolf revealed that he always thought it would be cool to have a crew with the motorcycle theme because they can be split across brands:

"Because it could be like on multiple shows. You could have members on RAW, members on SmackDown, you have prospects in NXT that wear little prospect pads; I think that would be pretty dope to start a crew like that," Corbin said. [From 27:59 to 28:14]

Whether WWE re-signs Baron Corbin down the line bears watching. But as of this writing, Bron Breakker continues to shine on RAW as the brand's Intercontinental Champion. The Lone Wolf also revealed original plans for his partnership with WWE Hall of Famer JBL two years ago in the same interview.
