Bron Breakker makes bold claim after impressive victory at WWE SummerSlam

Bron Breakker made a bold claim on social media today following his impressive victory last night at WWE SummerSlam. The former NXT Champion captured his first title on the main roster at the premium live event last night in Ohio.

Sami Zayn successfully defended the title against Bron Breakker last month at Money in the Bank but could not defeat the 26-year-old again at SummerSlam. Breakker was dominant during the title match and defeated Zayn to capture the Intercontinental Championship.

Sami Zayn defeated Gunther to capture the Intercontinental Championship at WWE WrestleMania XL after The Ring General held the title for 666 days. Zayn had an impressive 118-day reign with the title before losing it last night to Breakker.

Bron Breakker breaks character following win at WWE SummerSlam 2024

Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker got to share a heartwarming moment with his family following his victory last night over Sami Zayn.

His father, Rick Steiner, and his uncle, Scott Steiner, were in the crowd to watch Bron Breakker become champion. Breakker was interviewed following the show and broke character to reveal he shared a wholesome moment with his family after the match.

He shared that he went up to the booth the Steiner Brothers were in and hugged them. The champion added that he will remember moments like that for the rest of his life.

"I went up to their booth and gave them both a hug. They both told me they love me and it was cool, man. Wholesome moment like that, I will remember that stuff forever. That’s cool stuff," Bron Breakker said.

Bron has made an impact on the main roster since his arrival and WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has had a difficult time controlling him. It will be fascinating to see how long Breakker can hold onto the Intercontinental Championship and which WWE Superstar will be the first to challenge him for the title.
