Bron Breakker has his eyes on the Intercontinental Championship despite losing clean to Sami Zayn at Money in the Bank 2024. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Breakker shed some light on the two WWE Hall of Famers who expected a lot from him.
As you probably know, Breakker has a wrestling heritage that goes well beyond his year of birth. He belongs to the Steiner family - with his father being Rick Steiner and his Uncle Scott Steiner. The Steiner Brothers are WWE Hall of Famers - inducted by none other than Bron Breakker himself in 2022.
Bill Apter managed to have a quick, impromptu chat with the two-time NXT Champion Bron Breakker, and he was asked what it was like having his career influenced by the Steiner Brothers - his father and uncle:
"I learned so many things from both of them. It's just hard to put into words the amount of wisdom and guidance they've given me. In-ring work as well, goes a long way. They've just been absolutely pivotal and terrific in helping me in my career." [From 0:07 to 0:31]
He said that the expectations were always high for him and his brothers.
"You know, I feel they expected a lot. The bar was always very high and my brothers." [From 0:35 to 0:48]
When asked about many people considering him the next big thing, Breakker simply said: "I'd say they're right".

How did Ilja Dragunov respond to Bron Breakker's brutal assault on RAW?
Breakker has been tormenting several superstars over the last few months - taking out Ricochet and effectively ending his run with WWE. Ilja Dragunov recently challenged for the Intercontinental Title in a respectful but competitive bout against Sami Zayn.
Despite the son of Rick Steiner being told by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to leave the arena, he returned to cause a DQ - taking out both Dragunov and Sami Zayn.
On the latest RAW Talk, the 30-year-old Ilja Dragunov had a bone to pick with Bron Breakker:
"All I gotta say is that Bron Breakker still has some bones inside him that I need to break. That’s as easy as it gets. With regards to the rest, yeah, I’m very, very close. What do you want to say?"
Dragunov went on to hail Sami Zayn as a true champion. Moments earlier after RAW had gone off the air, Sami Zayn hailed Ilja Dragunov as the future of WWE.
