Bron Breakker is booked for WWE Money in the Bank. He is still fresh into his main roster run, but that is not stopping him from potentially taking Sami Zayn's Intercontinental Championship away. The first-time-ever title clash takes place this Saturday night inside the Scotiabank Arena in Canada.
Breakker joined The Masked Man Show just a few days ahead of his massive title clash to discuss a variety of topics. Despite showing signs of being a villain, WWE fans seem to be eating up everything he does in the ring.
The former NXT Champion revealed that he wants to earn respect from the fans because, at the end of the day, Bron Breakker envisions a future in World Wrestling Entertainment as the top guy and carrying the company on his shoulders:
"My mentality is to earn these people’s respect, that I belong up here, and not only do I belong, but I can be a main player here for a very long time. So that’s my mindset going forward on the main roster. My goal is to be a top guy in the future and to just carry the brand," Breakker said.
As per BetOnline, the latest betting odds signal an upset at Money in the Bank. Sami Zayn won the prestigious Intercontinental Championship in April from Gunther at WrestleMania XL, which was a rare loss in The Ring General's WWE career.
Does Sami Zayn feel that he has peaked in WWE because of the change in management?
Sami Zayn recently pointed out a positive aspect of Vince McMahon's regime in the Stamford-based promotion. He stated that if McMahon were still in power, Zayn would have a better chance of winning a world title because the former WWE Chairman was unpredictable with his booking.
In the case of WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, though, Zayn added that if a wrestler is on The Game's radar, then he or she may be in for a push. If not, then that's about it for the said athlete.
Here's what the Intercontinental Champion had to say while conversing with the Mail Sport in May 2024:
"It's kind of a double-edged sword. He [Triple H] might see me in a way that lends itself more to being in that mix and possibly winning it. But on the other hand, I could have just slipped on a banana peel and won the World Title!"
Be that as it may, Sami Zayn headlined WrestleMania 39 in 2023 alongside longtime friend Kevin Owens against The Usos. They even had a lengthy run as Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
His being the one chosen to end Gunther's reign at 666 days, although it was controversial among fans, shows that Triple H holds him in high regard.
