Sami Zayn has been on the run of his life. After nearly missing out on WrestleMania 40, Zayn managed to find a spot on the card and win the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther, thereby ending his historic title reign.
Following this win, Sami has proven himself to be a fighting champion on more than one occasion. He has challengers coming at him from all directions, the most destructive of which is Bron Breakker. The two men faced each other at Money in the Bank, but it was Sami who came out on top.

Despite this loss, Breakker managed to get himself another title shot by beating Ilja Dragunov tonight on RAW. Later on in the night, Sami and Jey Uso teamed up against The Judgment Day. After a grueling match, Zayn and Jey picked up a huge win over the current tag team champions.
However, Sami Zayn's night didn't end there as he was speared by Bron after the match. This was Bron's way of sending a message to the Intercontinental Champion.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar.
