Bron Breakker was eliminated from a major WWE tournament today. The 27-year-old captured the Intercontinental Championship from Jey Uso last month on RAW.
Sheamus and Bron Breakker competed in the number one contender's tournament for the WWE Speed Championship today. The action went back and forth, and neither star could get an advantage in the match. Breakker went for a Spear, but The Celtic Warrior countered with a knee to the face and both men fell to the canvas.
The match concluded in a time-limit draw, resulting in both RAW stars being eliminated from the tournament. Sheamus and Breakker then brawled after the match, and you can check it out in the video below.
Breakker initially won the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn at SummerSlam but lost the title to Jey Uso on the September 23 edition of RAW. However, Breakker recaptured the title last month by defeating Main Event Jey after The Bloodline got involved in the title match on the October 21 episode of the red brand.
Bill Apter makes a major prediction about Bron Breakker's future in WWE
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently made a major prediction about Bron Breakker's future in the promotion.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Bill Apter praised Bron Breakker and claimed his future was incredibly bright. Apter suggested that Breakker could become one of the top heels in the company after capturing the Intercontinental Championship once again:
"In the few weeks he has not held the belt, I have seen an interview improvement in him which is making his, the heel side, even more and more believable and dangerous. I predict that he is gonna be one of the top heels in WWE after a while... This is the great building process. Ya I think putting the belt on him is great but now you have two guys. Two guys, Jacob Fatu who is a maniac in the ring, and Bron Breakker who is an unpredictable, kinda maniacal type as well." [5:38 onwards]

Andrade is the reigning WWE Speed Champion, and also competed for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel, but came up short. It will be fascinating to see which WWE star emerges victorious in the tournament and challenges the 35-year-old for the title.
