A Damage CTRL member is set to take part in a historic match on RAW tonight. Ahead of the bout, Bronson Reed declared his support for her.

Dakota Kai has shown a lot of growth since she joined Damage CTRL along with Bayley and IYO SKY. Sadly, her career has been plagued by injuries which have always held her down. However, she now has the opportunity to redeem herself.

Dakota Kai was part of the tournament to crown the first-ever Women's Intercontinental Champion. She defeated Katana Chance and Shayna Baszler in the first round of the tournament and she defeated Zoey Stark in the semi-final. Tonight on RAW, she will compete in the final against Lyra Valkyria.

Ahead of this historic match, Auszilla broke his heel persona and took to social media to declare his support for the babyface Damage CTRL member.

"Tonight, we're in @ImKingKota corner #WWERaw," wrote Reed.

Bronson Reed recently provided an update on his injury

Bronson Reed was on a destructive path last year and his career was seemingly headed in the right direction. He injured Seth Rollins on RAW and viciously attacked R-Truth and The Miz before he met his match in Braun Strowman.

At Survivor Series: WarGames, Reed joined the new Bloodline's team. During the match, he injured himself and has been out of action since. He also previously revealed that his injury required him to have surgery and he would not be cleared in time for the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania 41.

Recently, Reed took to social media to let his fans know that he has been upgraded from cast to boot and he was making progress.

"Upgraded from cast to boot. Still no weight bearing, but hey, progress is progress," he wrote.

It will be interesting to see when Bronson Reed will recover from his injury and return to the ring.
